The City of Portland Planning Commission will hold two Public Hearings on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 259 Kent Street, Portland, Michigan to consider:

• A request to rezone the property located at 155 Rowe Ave. (34-300-034-000-254-20) from C-3 (Highway Commercial District) to C-2 (General Business District) to allow for the construction of two small building additions.
• To consider a Text Amendment to the City of Portland Zoning Ordinance, Appendix B, Section 8-8 regarding Fences and Walls.

Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. The City Clerk will receive written comments at City Hall until 4:00 P.M. on October 11, 2023.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services for the Public Hearing may obtain a request for accommodations form at City Hall or call the ADA Coordinator at 517-647-3211.  A request for accommodations form must be received five days prior to the Public Hearing date of October 11, 2023.
